Two airplanes tried to land and collided with each other just before 3 PM at a small airport in Watsonville, CA on Thursday. This airport is a municipal airport for small and privately owned aircrafts.
The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) are investigating this incident. The FAA reported that a single-engine Cessna 152 and a twin-engine Cessna Cessna 340 collided while the pilots were on their final approaches to Watsonville Municipal Airport in Watsonville, CA.
One person was on board the Cessna 152 and two people were on board the Cessna 340. This news is in development.
