Pastor from Rock Church in Virginia Beach Arrested for Solicitation of Minor

Virginia Beach police’s sting operation brought about an unexpected criminal: Pastor John Blanchard of the Rock Church located at Kempsville Road was found to be soliciting prostitution of a minor over the age of 16 online.

Authorities said that the perpetrators arranged to meet with the “minors” who were really undercover cops for sexual relations, and were arrested upon arrival. The operation was performed last week. He was released on bond.

Mr. Blanchard had been the senior pastor at the Rock Church since 2013.

The Rock Church refused to provide any comments.
