It has been quite a snowy season in the Greater D.C. area. The last major storm had people stuck on I-95 for anywhere between 27 to 36 hours.
Another storm is headed towards the region; this time, the impact is to be felt from a Nor’easter, which will impact a signification portion of the eastern coastal side of the United States.
Originally, the area was forecasted to see light coating to about 2 inches; however, evening models submitted at 11:05 PM now shows a forecast of 1-3 inches. Friday evening commute will likely be the most dangerous as temperatures drop below 20s after 9 to 10 PM. Icing will begin to be a problem.
Everyone should be cautious on their travels.
