Elijah El-Amin (17) was stabbed by a 27-Year Old Man at a convenience store over “Rap music.” El-Amin was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Michael Paul Adams allegedly stated that he’d had bad experiences with those who “listened to rap music,” and engaged in this behavior just two days after being released from prison, on charges including aggravated assault of a correctional officer, assault with a weapon, theft, and marijuana violation.

Adams’ attorney is claiming that the system failed Adams’ mental health problems. Unfortunately, regardless of whether the system failed or not, the 17-year old Elijah, who worked at Taco Bell and Subways to save for a car has passed away, and Adams is currently in custody.
