Isaias Hits the Carolinas and East Coast.

Category 1 hurricane Isaias narrowly passed by Florida, but its slight shift east now puts both South and North Carolinas at its path for landfall.

Its wind is expected to hit somewhere up to 70 mph, with flood warnings in effect up to Maine.

DC metro area including Northern Virginia and Maryland can expect rainfall of anywhere from 2-6 inches. People are being told to evacuate the Carolinas while mindful of the dangers of COVID-19 by wearing masks and carrying hand sanitizers.

This hurricane will downgrade to a tropical storm as it passes up the northeast coast to Maine, according to Weather.com.
