Trump Fires a Person a Day

트럼프는 8일 Director of US Secret Service 인 Randolph Alles 씨를 전격 경질한다고 밝혔다.

트럼프 대통령은 Acting Chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney 씨를 통해 이 일을 지시했다고 CNN은 전했다.

어제는 Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen 씨를 경질했다. Nielsen 국토안보국장이 해임되면서 후임으로 오는 사람은 더 강경하게 반이민법을 실행할 것으로 보인다고 Reuter는 전했다.

사실 Nielsen 국장이 임명된 후, 지난 16개월동안 더 멕시코와 미국 국경에서 합법적으로 난민신청한 남미인들에게 비인간적인 대우를 한 것이 더 메스컴에 부각되기도 했다.

내일은 누가 해임이 될 지 알 수 없으나 아무튼 어제, 오늘 사이에 한 사람씩 트럼프의 사람들이 자리를 떠났다.

2020 대통령 선거에 앞서서 트럼프의 사람들이 자리에서 떠 밀리면서 과연 그가 얻을 수 있는 것은 무엇일까 정답은 아마도 시간이 보여줄 것으로 보인다.
