The Bank of America Student Leaders Program Application Deadline – Jan.27. 2017

12월 23일(현지 시간) KCCD(Hyepin Im) 에 따르면, 뱅크오브 아메리카의 2017년 학생 지도자 프로그램 지원서를 오는 1월 27일까지 받는다고 알려왔다. 대상자는 고등학교 주니어와 시니어를 대상으로 실시하며, 학생들이 여름 인턴쉽을 통해 은행에서 선정한 비 영리기관과 지역 사회에서 발생하는 각종 문제들을 직접 접하며, 지도자의 역량을 키울 수 있는 프로그램이다.

물론 8주동안 은행에서 일정액의 급여를 지급한다. 2017년 7월 중 일주일 동안 워싱턴에서 있을 서밋에서 해당 참여 조직과 학생들은 어떻게 학생과 지역사회, 비즈네스, 관련기관과의 일의 연계성을 통해 그들의 지도력을 향상 시킬 수 있는 기회를 제공하게 될 것이다.

“The Bank of America Charitable Foundation is accepting applications for its 2017 Student Leaders® program until January 27th.  If you haven’t done so already, we would like your help spreading the word.

Since its inception in 2005, the Bank of America Student Leaders Program has recognized more than 2,200 exemplary high school juniors and seniors who have a passion for improving their communities.  The program helps students gain a greater understanding of how nonprofits create impact in the community and helps develop them as the next generation of community leaders through two components:

·         A summer eight-week paid internship with a nonprofit organization selected by the bank. This internship is designed to provide opportunities for the students to develop and apply leadership skills through hands-on work experience, while raising their awareness of community issues addressed by their Host Organization.

·         The week-long, all-expense paid Student Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C. in July 2017. Conducted in partnership with the Close Up Foundation, the Summit introduces students to aspects of civic, social and business leadership and provides them with knowledge and skills they will use throughout their life to create positive community change.
