Study Says: Eating Natural Food Reduces Risk of Blood Related Diseases

Eating a plant-based diet with fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, lower cholesterol, and prevent type 2 diabetes, according to a study from the UK Biobank on Tuesday.

This study implicated 113,000 participants for 12 years and their dietary patterns in 4 categories: fresh fruit, vegetables, and whole grains.

Study indicates that healthy plant-based, whole grains, fresh fruits, and vegetable takers are prone to reduce their risk of diabetes by 24% as explained in the publication of the journal Diabetes & Metabolism.

People who ate the healthiest diet also had lower body mass index and waist circumference, as well as better blood sugar levels and lower inflammatory levels.”

These chronic diseases’ relationship with food intake studies explain that we should eat more quality foods like natural food in the right ways rather than more processed foods.

The study did, however, explain that the intake of the right amount of nutrients was vital in those with preexisting physical conditions.

Of course, all things considered, humans generally benefit from smaller portions of food high in nutrition and regular exercise, which will lead to a better outcome; a healthy lifestyle.
