Olivia Newton-John dead at 73

Olivia Newton-John (73), a British- Australian born singer, songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, and activist died on Monday according to a statement from her husband, John Easterling (m. 2008). She was 73.

“Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine [continue] with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to the @onjfoundation,” her husband, John Easterling wrote in the statement on the singer’s verified Instagram account. according to CNN.

She was a four times Grammy winner, five times number one, on the Billboard hot 100, and 200s many more. She was like an idle of the analog generation. A granddaughter of a Nobel prize in Physics (award 1954), Max Born, and her background was the most intellectual families surrounded. She married actor, Matt Lattanzi and divorced in 1995. She has a daughter, Chloe Lattanzi (36) also a singer.

“Dame Olivia Newton-John (73) passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends. We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time,” Easterling posted Monday afternoon.
