10월 9일 페어펙스에 소재한 Virginia International University 에서 정부 공무원에서 부터 대기업과 중소기업의 직원을 채용하기 위한 안내로 부스를 마련하였고, 직업을 찾기 위해서 이력서를 든 많은 젊은 이들의 발길이 쉴 새 없이 분주하게 움직인 하루 였다.

이번 잡 페어에는 아시안 아메리칸 상공회의소와 아시안 포춘 매거진이 공동 주최했으며 페어펙스 카운티, 프린스 윌리암 카운티, 그리고 국무부를 비롯한 각 정부 단체에서 활발하게 그들의 조직을 알리고 또 취업 안내를 했다.

컴퓨터 관련 산업체가 직원채용에 나섰으며, 경찰, 교도관등을 모집하는 안내에 많은 인파가 몰리는 것은 그 만큼 안정된 직장을 선호하는 사람들이 많다는 것을 의미함을 알 수 있었다.
