Man Forces Atlanta-Bound Plane to Land in Oklahoma; faces $9000 fee to Delta and 6 months jail sentence

지난 5월 30 일, 포틀랜드, 오레건주를 떠나 조지아 주 애틀랜타를 향해 가던 델타항공에서 승객 Bolutife Olorunda (29) 씨가 승무원과 말다툼을 벌여 결국 비행기가 오클라호마주 에 비상착륙하게 되었다.

오늘 7월 12일 오클라호마 연방법원은 Olorunda 씨에게 비행기 안에서는 비행기 안전 수칙을 어겼다고 이에 유죄를 선고했다.

이로써 Olorunda 씨는 델타 항공에 비상착륙으로 인한 손해 배상으로 $9,111 을 지불해야 하며, 6개월동안 감옥에서 형을 살아야 하고, $5,000 불의 벌금을 내야한다.
