Honda Odyssey, recalling 900,000 minivans Increasing of fire risk caused by the fuel leak from cracking of gas tank.

According to LATimes,

Honda  found a probable cause from the top of fuel tank, the fuel strainer cracked by chemical reaction which it washed overtimes with chemical that leads to crack the strainer and leaking gas its due to fire in Odyssey minivans. Honda announced in official in last Friday, “The minivans from 2005-2010 models(886,815 vans)  Odyssey  will be noticed first for recalling in April and May and second notice will be in this summer.”

Honda has replaced of high demanding of fuel pump by the customers since 2012.

Honda has tested and watched for several months with this probable causes that the automaker found the leakages from the strainer with an acid on the top and Honda decided to recall  Odyssey minivans.

This Odyssey van is very popular among customers.

연료 탱크가 부식되어 연료 누실 화재 발생 염려

 

엘에이 타임지에 따르면,

혼다의 아더시 미니밴이 연료탱크의 연료를 거름장치가 세차를 해서 생길 수 있는 화확적인 작용으로 인해 부식되어 깨지므로해서 가스가 새어나와 화재가 일어 날 수 있다고 판정해서 지난 2005-2010년 모델들에 대해서 리콜을 하기로 결정했다고 지난 금요일 혼다측이 말했다고 밝혔다.

혼다의 미니밴 아더시는 적어도 90만대 가까이 리콜 대상이 되며 지난 2년전 부터 이 차의 연료펌프에 대한 교체요구를 신중히 검토한 바 이러한 결정을 내리게 되었으며 이는 수차례에 걸쳐서 시험한 결과 연료가 누실되어 있음을 발견했다고 한다.

두 차례에 걸쳐 고객들에게 리콜 안내를 할 예정이며 4월/5월, 그리고 여름에 할 예정이다.

아더시는 미국안에서도 많은 이들이 갖고 싶어 하는 차종이었다.
