On May 23, Prince William County held a Food Truck Festival at the Gar-Field High School parking lot in Woodbridge, VA. More than 20 vendors from northern Virginia and along the east coast attended to showcase their items and celebrate the Memorial day weekend.
Families and friends lined up by the trucks to try new dishes or buy their favorites, then moving out to sit on empty spaces and grassy areas and gulf down the delicious foods.
Local musicians also attended the event and made the mood cheerful and fun.
The Bolivian traditional dancers showcased young, energetic, and handsome men and women in their beautiful traditional garments, as they shook their bodies to the rhythm and performed flawlessly for the gathered crowd.
The event was a huge success; with so many trucks representing different cultures, it was impossible to choose just one; long lines of people waited in front of each truck, no matter the culture or the dish.
According to the Prince William County Park and Recreations Department, this event will return next year, and anyone interested should contact Prince William County for more information.
