An elk killed a woman who fed the wild animal in Arizona. The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) said the attack happened on Oct. 26, in the Pine Lake community in Hualapai Mountains.
According to Fox 10, the Husband of the victim got home from work around 6 p.m. and found his wife on the ground of the backyard of their house, “with injuries consistent with being trampled by an elk.”
Her husband says he saw a bucket of spilled corn nearby, leading investigators to think she was feeding the elk. Police officers visited the victim’s home spoke with her husband, and saw several elk tracks in their yard.
His husband called 911, and his wife was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center and then to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. She was put into a medically induced coma and died on November 3.
Not surprisingly wild animals attack humans often and the deer is the most dangerous wild animal in the U. S. Deer is the most widespread region and in abundant numbers in the country. Please do not feed the wild animals, especially deer or elk.
