Children Say Goodbye to their Mother, 8 Years After the Death of their Father

Sundee Rutter, 42 (Died March 16) in Everett, Washington. Shortly before she passed, staff at Providence Hospital, who were keeping visitors (including her children) out of her room, hoping to prevent the virus’s spread.

Hospital staffs prepared for her farewell using walkie-talkie, and set the children up against the other side of a window to her bed, so that they could say their final goodbyes.

She began to feel ill on March 2; she was weak, had trouble breathing, and had a migraine.

She left all her six children aged from 13 to 24 years. They lost their father 8 years ago, and the single mom had taken care of them.

She survived breast cancer, and it is truly tragic that she could not beat COVID-19. Much condolences to her family.
