Bezos Finally Outpaces Gates, Becoming Richest Man with Over $150 Billion

Jeff Bezos (54) 아마존 회장이 드디어 빌 게이츠($93.3 Billion)를 제끼고 $151 billion 으로 전 세계에서 가장 돈이 많은 최고 갑부가 되었다.

프린스턴 대학 출신의 베조 회장은 이제 전 세계에서 7월 16일자로 부자로 우뚝 서게 되었다. 아마존 회장에서 워싱턴 포스트지를 사들이고, Whole Food를 사들인 그는 트럼프가 점심을 같이 먹고 싶어하는 사람이 되었다고 USA 투데이지는 덧 붙였다.

아마존 주식이 8일째 계속 고공행진을 해왔으며, 월요일인 16일 현재 $9.46 달러가 오른  $1,822.49 불로 장을 마감했다.

아마존 주식은 작년에 비해 55%가 상승했으며, 7개월도 채 되지 않아 $50 billion 을 더 만든 셈이다.

최고 갑부 5위를 살펴보면 Bezos ($151 billion) and Gates($91.9 billion) Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett ($83 billion), Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg ($83 billion) and Amancio Ortega ($75 billion), Founder of Inditex 등이다.

이들 중 3명이 IT 관련하여 돈을 번 부자들이다.
