June 11, 2014, All AAPI representatives gathered to raise their voices to the 435 Congressmen at the 234 Cannon House Building in DC.

As  minorities, All the representatives of AAPI came from different nationalities to assert their status as immigrants, to pursue their “American Dream,” as well as the ability to live with their families.

APALA (Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance, AFL-CIO), JACL (Japanese American Civil league), NAKASEC (National Korean American Service & Education Consortium) and the former OCA were there to urge this matter to the House representatives.

The AAPI representatives announced to the House Representatives that AAPI will evaluate House Representatives based on their records in the Congressional history about Immigration Reform issues and will inform to their constituents.

According to national score card, the lowest score is 59% out of 100%. For example, in the state of Virginia, who got the lowest score of 59% are Rep. Robert J. Wittman (R-1), Robert William Goodlatte (R-6), Rep. Scott E. Rigell (R-2), and Robert Hurt (R-5).

AAPI representatives plan to keep scoring the House Representatives based on their support or withdrawal of immigration support.
