아시안 아메리칸 상공인 신년 하례회 가져

정월 초하루, 양력으로 1월의 끝날이면서  새로운 해의 시작을 알리는 신년하례식인 점심을 같이 하면서 네트워킹을 갖기도 한 오늘의 행사가  많은 아시안 상공인들이  모인 가운데 아시안 아메리칸 상공회의소( 소장, 신디 챠오)주최로 폴스쳐치에 있는 홋카이도라는 중식당에서 있었다.

이 자리에는  중국, 한국, 비엔남, 필리핀, 인도등 아시안들이 모여 서로 신년을 축하하고 또 신년의 의미를 되새기는 만남을 가졌는데 마크워너 상원의원 보좌관 스캇 프라이스 와 미국에서 상공인들의 재정적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 은행관계자들, 그리고 각 분야에서 비즈니스를 하고 있는  상공인들이 서로 일면식을 치르고 난 후, 서로 다른 문화와 함께 문화의 공감대를 찾는 귀한 시간을 가졌다.

이 아시안 아메리칸 상공회의소( 소장 신디 챠오) 는 아시안 커뮤니티를 좀더 다각적으로 접근하고 서로 도울수 있는 일을 찾고 방법을 제시하며 보다 나은 내일로 함께 가기 위해서 이러한 모임을 조직한 지 5년 되었으며 이렇게 신년 하례회를 갖게 된 지는 3년 되었다고 말하며 보다 많은 상공인들이 참여해 귀한 자리가 되길 바란다고 말했다.

중국인의 “새해 복 많이 받으세요”의 뜻인 중국어 ( 신년 콰일러), 등 각국의 새해 인사를 돌아가면서 소개 할때에 서로 서로 따라 배울려고 입을 모았다.

아시안 아메리칸 상공인 모임은 정기적으로 매월 가지며 서로간에 우의도 다지며 함께 하는 정보 교환 또는 나눔의시간도 갖게 된다.

The first day of the year of blue horse in the lunar calendar, some of Asian business men and women were in luncheon together at the seafood buffet( Hokkaido) located in Falls church hosted by Asian-American business commerce ( founder, Cindy Chao)

They were gathering together with commonality as Asian: Chinese, Korean, Vietnam, Philippine, Indonesian, Indian and some Caucasian and black in the cozy place where they met as a community.

Some of them were from the government to help the small business owners to build up their business in the matter of financial wise, like a banker or some other aspects and some of them are worldwide business men and women like travel agencies.

Scott Price who is the representative of the Senate Mark Warner, came with us listening what is all about our meeting or what is the main subject of our conversation and so forth.

They introduced to  each other and exchanged their business cards with blessing for the very special day, with their greeting words like, Happy New Year to Chinese was “Sinyun qaire” and” Chuc Mung Nam Moi” in Vietnamese.

Cindy Chao , a host and founder of this organization, said this is for the community for the Asian or related with Asian community for better future as business men and women to meet and share ideas. She organized five years ago and started luncheon together three years ago.

The meeting held every month with different subjects and agendas.
