Fotis Dulos posted $6M bond in the case of his missing wife now suspected to be murdered. His attorney, Kent Douglas Mawhinney was arrested on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder of Jennifer Dulos on Tuesday, January 9, 2020.
He had represented Fotis Dulos in the $2.5M lawsuits filed by his mother-in-law. His Bar record was shown to be clean and in good standing; however, he had previously been charged with violating a protective order in his own divorce and for sexually assaulting his wife after they agreed to a divorce.
Criminal charges in connection with the alleged sexual assault, violation of a protective order are still pending; Mawhinney now sees Conspiracy to Commit Murder be added to a growing list of criminal charges.
