On March 31, the Northern Virginia and Maryland area was under a tornado warning until about 8:50 PM. The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado landing in Tysons Corner. The National Weather Service confirmed a second hit in Virginia, spotted in Centreville, Virginia on March 31, around 8:21 PM. Thankfully, no injuries or deaths were reported, but several trees were downed.
The tornado traveled 80 yards near Cub Run Elementary School. The max wind reached was 85 mph, with path width of 30 years, and at the strength of EF0 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale.
