Japan and North Korea begins dating… again.

On March 20, 2014, The Japanese government and the North Korean government decided to re-start formal talks and re-establish diplomatic relations. The Japanese PM Shinzo Abe focused mainly on repatriation of Japanese citizens that died in North Korea during World War II. According to the New York Times, they met in the Northern Chinese city of Shenyang,  and decided to re-open official talks as early as next month to discuss various issues that remain unsolved. This is the first official contact between the two nations since North Korea launched a long distance missile over Japan in December 2012.
